My aim in writing these blogs and my novels is to entertain, encourage, and inform. Illness struck me in my early thirties, but I have always tried to keep a positive outlook. You’ll find blogs on this site with practical help, but also ones that are just there to raise a smile. I am not medically trained, so always seek professional advice for medical issues. My blogs are giving you my take on life with a long-term disability. I cannot stand or walk. Most of my days are in a hospital type bed at home. I need care for most things.

I returned to writing fiction after finding myself limited. My main character Hilda expresses a side of me that is bursting to get out. She brings out much of what I admire. Tenacity, boldness, strength of character and the ability to go through life not worrying about what others think. My novels are cosy murder mysteries and designed to be an easy read. They are entertaining and fun, as well as presenting a mystery.
